年の気象学による見解 2020

Abruzzo swung from the mild temperatures of February and early March (with peaks of 20 degrees Celsius on the coast) to their abrupt lowering in mid-April without serious consequences for the new shoots.

From the end of May onwards, beautiful days and high temperatures help foster the development of good vegetation and the normal shaping of well-formed and uniform bunches of grapes. The lack of rainfalls from June to August caused major problems, especially in hilly and mountainous areas in non-irrigated and sun-exposed soils. This situation led to a decrease in the weight of bunches and to a production drop of about 18%.
